I have spent my entire career in the newspaper business. I started as Advertising Director in my hometown, Clinton Illinois, in 1983. I was named publisher of that same paper in 1989. In 2001, I was offered the opportunity to move to Nebraska and work for the Omaha World Herald Company at their Lexington Nebraska newspaper. I spent 15 years as the Publisher of the Lexington Clipper-Herald. In January of 2015 I was offered the position of Publisher at the North Platte Telegraph.

In this past year I have found that North Platte and its community leaders are enthusiastic for their hometown. The opportunity for me to get involved in the community has been great. I was recently elected to the North Platte Chamber/Devco Board, North Platte United Way Board and am currently enlisted in Leadership Lincoln County. I am excited to be a part of the North Platte community  and am excited in the direction our community is headed.

My Husband and I currently resided in North Platte, our Daughter Allie (Baker) Mulligan and her family Scott and daughter Madison reside in Cozad Nebraska.
