Fifty local nonprofit causes have registered to participate in the first ever North Platte Giving Day on May 3, hosted by Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation. During this 24-hour community giving event, everyone who cares about the North Platte area can choose their favorite cause or causes and give to them either online or at one of several local donation sites. 

There will be Cash Prizes for nonprofits, a real-time Leaderboard and fun events.  In addition, dozens of Cash Prizes provided by Giving Day Sponsors will be incentives for online donations on May 3 and will be awarded to nonprofits and announced throughout the day. 

Sponsorships provide businesses with the opportunity to receive prominent public recognition while supporting local nonprofit causes.  A limited number of Giving Day Sponsorships are still available.  Sponsorships are available at three levels:
Platinum $2,000, Gold $1,000 and Silver $500.
