About Us

The North Platte Area Chamber of Commerce & Development Corporation is a private, non-profit organization of businesses and professional people dedicated to improving the economic and civic environment of our area and fostering the growth and prosperity of business. Our strength is in our members whom you will see highlighted within the pages of this website. These businesses and individuals create a pool of resources that are able to be combined together to solve problems and create opportunities within our community and area.

Our organization was formed on April 1, 2008, when the North Platte Area Chamber of Commerce and the Development Corporation of North Platte (DEVCO) merged together. The Chamber and DEVCO were two successful organizations doing things to improve and develop our community. After much thought and consideration on behalf of both Boards of Directors, it was determined that these two quality organizations could do even more working together as one. One organization working toward a common purpose and common goals, the most important of which is ''what is best for North Platte and Lincoln County''!
