I am high energy, well rounded, and have an unmatched work ethic (having grown up on a ranch in the Sandhills). I am an effective communicator, detail oriented, and self driven. I thrive in a variety of work environments and enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds. I have been in the field of economic development for 12 years, starting first at a Chamber of Commerce and moving into the Community and Economic Development Director role with the City of Sidney, Nebraska. Currently, I am the Vice President of Economic Development and Marketing for the North Platte Area Chamber and Development Corporation. I am super passionate about downtown revitalization and development. I have been involved in the Main Street Program on a local and state level for more than 12 years.
My experience with both the private sector and the public sector has provided me with well-rounded experience and statewide contacts. I truly enjoy working with business and industry and have been lucky to be a part of successful communities in which community leaders, organizations, government entities, and businesses work together for the greater good of the growing community.
I have a Master’s Degree in Organization Management emphasizing economic development and entrepreneurship. Additionally, I am experienced at Social Media Management, blogging, public relations, and wellness initiatives, as well as areas of business support, recruitment, and cultivation.
My husband is the Superintendent of Brady Public Schools and we have two young daughters that keep us busy and on the go!
