DESCRIPTION:Mid-Plains United Way will be having their 6th Annual Taste of the Plains Fundraising event this year on Saturday April 27\, from 4-7 p.m at the North Platte Ramada Inn where foods and drinks from around Western Nebraska can be sampled.  20% of sales made by each vendor at the event will again be donated back to Mid-Plains United Way.  With the money donated from vendors\, table sponsors and ticket sales\, Mid-Plains United Way is able to help 15 local partner non-profit agencies who serve 16 counties in Western Nebraska.   Fundraising opportunities like this one\, are what make helping these local non-profits possible.  Vendors of all kinds are asked to participate\; to include food\, drink\, art\, and retail.
