    Shop in North Platte this Holiday season and you have the chance to win big!

    Stop at our participating businesses from November 25th through December 16th for your chance to win $5,000! You will receive one ticket for stopping in to the store, and an additional ticket for each ten dollar increment of the sale. There is no purchase necessary to participate. The winning ticket will be drawn and announced on December 17th. SO- this Holiday season Shop North Platte and support your local businesses!

    The Second Chance Prizes were announced on December 22, 2025. They have 30 days (January 22, 2026- due to closures on 12/25 & 1/1) to come to the Chamber Office at 502 S. Dewey to claim their prizes.

  • Frequently Asked Questions:

    WHEN does the drawing/announcement happen?

    • The first drawing will take place the afternoon/evening of December 17th. The 7-digit number will be announced on the Chamber's facebook page, website, and given to the media. If that ticket holder does not come forward within 24 hours, that ticket then becomes void. The next announcement will be made on 12/18/24 at 5pm and be given 24 hours to come forward, per our official rules. Each time a number is announced, the ticket holder will have 24 hours to come to our office, located at 502 South Dewey with their ticket. 
    • SAVE your tickets! If the winner does not come forward in 24 hours, a new number is announced each Chamber business day (except Christmas Eve day, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve day, and New Year's day). Numbers will not be announced on weekends. There are also 24 participating businesses that have volunteered Second Chance Prizes from the tickets at their location!


    WHERE can we find the 7-digit number?


    HOW can we claim the $5,000 cash?

    • The person who has the matching 7-digit number will need to come to our office (502 South Dewey, North Platte, NE) within the 24 hours to verify they are the winner. They will need to present their winning ticket, their ID, and fill out the necessary tax documents.
    • Reminders: You must be 18 years of age or older to win. You may not win from tickets given out at your place of business. The winner is responsible for applicable taxes.


    WHAT about the Second Chance Prizes- When will they be announced?

    • After we have awarded the $5,000, we will announce the Second Chance prize winners from the twenty-four (24) stores. The ticket winners for each of these prizes have 30 days to come to the our office (502 S. Dewey) to verify their tickets and pick up their prize and or certificate.
