    About the Training
Many downtown organizations already rely on fundraising events to supply operating funds, but more towns should!  Learn about different types of fundraising events designed to raise revenue for downtown organizations.  This presentation organizes these ideas into 10 different categories to see the wide variety and creativity of downtown organizations who use these events to raise money.  We will delve into the component parts of these events so that attendees will leave with new ideas to expand donations, sponsorships, in-kind gifts, and sales to boost the net profits of your existing events.  Case studies will be presented and you’ll learn from audience members too, who will be encouraged to add suggestions throughout the session. Freshen up your tired events or get some new ideas by participating in this webinar.  We will provide handouts, relevant articles, and a handful of work plans for distribution after the webinar along with the collected fundraising ideas from webinar attendees.
