“support, confirmation; a guardian; a nurse.” At AmanaCare, our goal is to
confirm the intrinsic value of our clients and to support them through their
unique circumstances. By providing constant, reliable care tailored to each
person, we seek to be the guardian and nurse that they and their loved ones
can trust.
Our mission: AmanaCare keeps the promise of quality home life for seniors
and people with disabilities by assisting with activities of daily living and
coordinating community resources.
We offer non-medical in-home assistance to seniors and disabled or recovering
adults. .

Light housekeeping
Errands and transportation

Pet assistance
We accept Medicaid, VA, and private pay.
Minimum of 2 care hours per week.
Company history: AmanaCare’s owner, Kathleen Horsley, is an RN who has been
involved in home care since 1995. She started her own home health-care
company in 2014 and a non-medical care company in 2019. In 2020 she sold
the medical side of her company (Personal Home Services) and began focusing
solely on non-medical services (AmanaCare).
Recruiting: To apply you must be 19 or older, possess a high-school diploma
or GED, hold a valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance, and have
reliable transportation.
