Vice President of Operations, Cassie Condon recently attended a webinar with Nebraska Public Power District. Retail Strategies is a retail recruitment and market analysis partner. Their focus is heavily on downtown markets, policy administration, tourism & promotion, and economic vitality.
 
After the webinar, Condon met with a representative for a Walkability Assessment of our downtown community. He noted that our downtown 20-minute zone had a score of 80, which was extremely high for the Midwest. The 3 factors are walkable distance between boundaries, the presence of a comprehensive network of pathways designed for pedestrians and cyclists, and a variety of restaurants, retailers, and service providers necessary for regular life. The median age in that zone 35.7, also very low. What a young community our downtown area is experiencing!
