  • Leadership Lincoln County is a ten-month hands-on study of Lincoln County and North Platte. In this comprehensive Leadership Development program, you will be a part of an outstanding group of men and women who share the desire to gain knowledge and share individual expertise to ultimately make Lincoln County a better place to live, work, and visit.

Each session will focus on a specific aspect of Lincoln County with the following in mind:

    • Developing networking skills
    • Gaining community awareness
    • Enhancing community involvement
    • Observing leadership styles/skills

In addition to gaining broader exposure to Lincoln County, you will also meet peers from other fields and backgrounds. This is an opportunity to form friendships that will benefit your professional and volunteer careers.

The 2025-2026 Sessions are ongoing currently, with Graduation set for May 19, 2026 for participants who have met the requirements. (Points for attendance and community involvement must be met!)

Applications for the 2026-2027 Session will be open soon. Each participant is required to get involved within the community, attain at least 125 Community Involvement Points throughout the 10 months, and be active in the leadership program. The sessions are held on the third Tuesday of each month, from 8am-5pm. (Some of these Tuesdays follow a nationally recognized holiday)
